I am encouraged today that by the grace of God we are being made in the image of Christ our Savior and Redeemeer. There is a great attack today upon the Church , the Bride of Christ. When I look around at what is happening to the Saints of God, what is happening to marriages in the Body of Christ and what is happening to the Churches I am led more than ever to pray and to seek the guidance of His Holy Spirit to give me the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of Him. Lord open our eyes! the Bible tells the story of the prophet Elijah and Jezebel the wife of Ahab who sought to destroy the prophet and cause him to flee and fear. Today we need to understand the Jezebel spirit has nothing to do with sex, it comes to undermine and destroy the church of God so as to discourage the people of God to abandon the will and word of God.

We are reminded of the great falling away in the end times that is prophesid in the Bible. There are mega churches being established daily, but people are falling away from the word not the church. The Jezebel spirit will use strife, dissention, sex, betrayal and infidelity to undermine the church. This spirit will show up in the church to "defile the bride". "If my people, which are called by my name would humble themselves, PRAY, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven and heal their land."

Saints have we humbled ourselves? Are we seeking the face of God or the hand of God, are we looking for what God can do for us or what we can do in God? I pray that we will take on a passion for prayer!!!! Become addicted to prayer instead of Law and Order!!! Run to the alter instead of running to the one day sale at macy's. My precious brothers and sisters, I believe those who are His will take on a passion for prayer. The Passion for Prayer gathering will take place in the Spring of 2008.
