THE DESIRES OF GOD'S HEART: a place where HIS heart matters!
The Chambers within
The hollow center of your heart is divided into four sections, called chambers. Each chamber is like a separate room, with doors that let blood in and out. You have two upper chambers that receive and two lower chambers that push out. These chambers are hollow because it has to have room for the blood to come in and out.
Now, depending on who your "FATHER" or "father" is will determine your blood type that will flow through your heart. The same way it is genetically, it is spiritually as well. Proverbs 27:19 says, "As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man". What does it take in order to reflect ourselves as a man, woman, or child of GOD? I don't believe that we always need a new heart because GOD created the heart to function in it's capacity, whether you are holy or profane, the heart will continue to beat and pump blood (it is doing it's job) so to get a new heart means nothing. The thing is that their must be a different type of blood that flows through the heart, we must switch bloodlines in order to reflect ourselves as a man, woman, or child of GOD. We must come underneath the covenant relationship with GOD in CHRIST JESUS. When we accept JESUS as our LORD and SAVIOUR, we switch from being sinful and iniquitous to being born again, hence, Psalm 51:5 "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me" and John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God". In order to stay "born again" or "saved" there must be a continuance of the right blood flowing through us, the blood is in essence THE WORD OF GOD! Reading and studying the word of GOD helps us to know about HIM and about us as a newly created child of GOD. After we read and understand the word of GOD, we must be sure to apply it to our lives or else everything that we have done up to that point is for naught - nothing. As we study the word of GOD, we hide it in our hearts that we might not sin against GOD. The word of GOD sets an atmosphere on the inside where GOD will want to come and dwell because HE is welcomed there by HIS own, HE has a constant invitation that never expires. The word of GOD is now the new blood that flows through the heart and is pushed out through out the body pushing out every thought and belief that the devil put in us before GOD came in.
